Released Time programs allow for public school students, who have written requests from their parents, to take one hour a week during regular school hours to receive religious instruction.
The program was first implemented by Dr. William Albert Wirt in Gary, Indiana in 1914. Today, there are approximately 1,000 released time programs operating around the country, with over 250,000 students enrolled. In 1952, Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas wrote the majority opinion upholding the right for students to be released from public school to receive religious instruction.
Teachers with a love for children teach in our mobile classroom (which is never driven with children aboard) and provide a positive, encouraging, and fun environment - where we strive to make each child know they are priceless and created for a purpose. Our teachers are passionate about the Bible and love to share the Word of God in a fun way. Our hope is that your children will truly come to know the hope and joy gained through Bible teachings.
